Sometimes even light pollution can look good. Thank you, Jupiter for sticking around as long as the clouds would allow.
I had been planning this image for a few months, but clouds kept getting in the way of the full moon. Instead of putting it off any longer, my family and I went to the river downtown when there was supposed to be a clear pocket of sky. I didn’t think the clouds would move away in time, but they sure did! Even though it was the night after the full moon and it was cold, we had a lovely October evening together watching the moon rise behind the Dayton, Ohio skyline. Sometimes even if something doesn’t seem to be probable, it’s worth a try- it might just be wonderful.
